A thoughtful baby

Concentration

I try not to gratuitously post pictures of my family to chromalark, on the assumption that other people are probably only interested in seeing shots of, say, my cats, or my baby daughter, if they have some redeeming photographic quality to them.

For the past month or so I've been working at home, which means I've been spending a lot more time with my daughter, for which I am inexpressibly thankful. So, I can't stand it anymore; here is a shot of her taken just today. My excuse is that I find the thin depth-of-field and bright colors pleasing. But really, it's because she's on my mind so much of the time now.

It seems like just yesterday that my wife and I were trading shifts at the hospital, keeping a vigil by her side. Today she is healthy and happy and growing like a weed. Who could ask for more?
