Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2007! 2006 was quite a year for me; it was my baby daughter's first calendar year of life, and she's certainly kept me and her mum busy. Still, I count 316 images posted to chromalark, which means that by and large I managed to stick fairly well to a one-image-a-day pace. I've been dropping more days lately, though -- I'll see if I can't tighten things up a little in the New Year.

Last year I posted a semi-abstract of the Space Needle with its holiday decorations up, but this year I don't have anything particularly holiday-themed, so this allegorical image will have to do. It's of a gate to some random apartment building in San Francisco. If you're into that sort of thing, you can choose to see the gate as a symbol of transition as we enter the new year.
