A snowy tree in front of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler

Epic

I was in Whistler for the past few days; the conditions were historically good. We got fresh snow nearly every night we were there, and the mountains were covered in powder. Here's a snowy tree in front of the Fairmont hotel near the Blackcomb base after one of the snow dumps.

Curiously, this type of shot (tree in front of architecture) has become something of a recurring theme for me; see also Bloedel Window, On Krakow's Square, Spring in Krakow and Space Tree.

Shot of the day is "cloak room" on Thinsite.
