Looking out

Here is a view towards the windows from the end of the cellblock shown in yesterday's shot. I added a little gauziness around the glare of the windows to try to convey how harsh the outside light looked, filtered through the grubby windows and viewed from the dark interior.

I lifted the shadows somewhat in this image, which gives it something of an HDR-like feel, but this was single-exposure handheld.
