A passing streetcar in Toronto, Canada

Clackety clackety

It's great being in cities with comprehensive public transit systems. Montreal has a clean, fast subway system, and Toronto has a mesh of streetcars, buses and a more stripped-down subway. The streetcars in particular have a lot of character, and make an impressive rumbling noise as they lumber by.

We fly back to Seattle tomorrow. More's the pity.
