Colors

There's a joke about there being only two seasons in Montreal: winter, and construction. Indeed, the winters are forbiddingly harsh, so as soon as the weather turns reasonably nice, construction projects get underway and continue feverishly into the fall as companies strive to wrap everything up before the snow starts falling.

I found this scene on Sherbrooke street, on my way downtown, as I stopped for a break in front of a museum.
