Fall foliage against the setting sun, East Aurora, New York

Waning sun

While we were in Toronto, we took a quick side trip to the village of East Aurora, home of Fisher Price, just across the border in New York. There, we went for a relaxing walk in the woods as the sun went down.

I cannot tell a lie; I added the lens flare effect in post-production, because I would never be so careless as to actually let my lens flare out while shooting into the sun! Maybe I should loosen up a little.

I'm back in Seattle but will be running images from Canada for a little while. While I was away, chromalark got a sustained flood of junk comments, and I wasn't able to deal with them while on vacation. As a result, I turned off commenting for anyone not logged in with Typekey. Sorry for foisting this on you silently, and my apologies if you were thwarted while trying to comment.

I've made comments freely usable again, and will try to find a way to stay on top of the spam. Send evil vibes towards the spambots!
