The safety gate on the deck of a Washington State ferry, with evening shadows

Gate fever

Every time I take the Bainbridge Island ferry out of Seattle I notice the safety gate the crew stretches across the end of the deck while the ship is sailing. A different view of this same subject was one of the first images I posted on chromalark; I shot it on film quite a while ago.

Here is another take.

Shot of the day is "sugar shacks" on troisiemeoeil. I miss Quebec sometimes.

Wonderful abstraction - the perspective here is exceptionally difficult to place, which is a joy as far as found abstracts go - it wasn't until I looked at the alternate view that I fully understood the orientation of the subject here. Fine work.
