Cool water

St Peter's Square, facing the famous Basilica, was a wonderful place to be in the early morning; it was quiet, and the side-lighting made the fountains and columns really interesting.

After consulting the Wikipedia entry for St. Peter's Square, I think this fountain, on the south side of the square, was designed by Bernini. I could have gotten it mixed up with the other fountain, which was designed by Maderno, though.
