Medieval stone

The fascinating thing about Europe for a North American is how tremendously much older everything is than the oldest settlements back home. Here is a cobbled laneway in a medieval town (Pienza, I believe). I'm not sure how old these structures are, but unless they are good replicas, I would guess they are older than anything back home in Seattle.

Shot of the day is the water bottle on Lost in Shots.
