The face of a movement
I went to the immigrants-rights march this past May 1st to try to get some "street portraits", and this is pretty much the sort of thing I had in mind. My street photography skills are quite weak, so I was pleased to get this (I think) compelling image. Have I mentioned how much I love my 80-200mm lens lately?
The march in Seattle was striking because the participants were asked to wear black clothes and demonstrate silently. Mostly, they did. It was eery to have such a huge crowd of people and not much noise.
