The Church of St Adalbert, on Krakow's Market Square

On the way to remembering John Paul

I set out one night in Krakow with a tripod to get pictures of the spontaneous memorials to Pope John Paul, but on the way I stopped in the Market Square to take a couple of pictures.

With this exposure, I got the ghostly human figures of the passers-by as I was hoping, but I kind of wish they were a little more dramatic. Oh, well.

The Church of St Adalbert predates the square by a considerable period of time, and isn't aligned with the modern square because the church is oriented east-west, whereas the square is not.
