A random city shot

Here's a random macro shot I took while wandering around on Capitol Hill a few days ago soaking up the sunshine. We've been having a thoroughly delightful spring in Seattle this year; there have been lots of sunny days, and the trees are blooming like crazy.

As always, direct sunlight creates problematic hard shadows, so I thought I would roll with it and take some shots of deliberately super-high-contrast subjects.
