Color this time

Here is the sister image to one I previously posted. I know they're quite similar, but I liked the idea of having one color and one black and white one in the rotation. I didn't do a B&W conversion of this one.

I think the b/w version is stronger. The details and texture of the metal stand out so much more when not distracted by colour!

Yes, I'm pretty fond of B&W for exactly that reason: it emphasizes lines and textures. For these pictures, though, I was torn because I'm fond of the deep rust color.

Like this. I would normally prefer the black and white but the rust looks so good in this.
