An evening view from Dead Horse Point, Utah

A vista of rocks

I went to the desert last year looking for a nice peaceful rock to sit on, and scenery to contemplate, and I found plenty of both. My friends and I were particularly impressed with Dead Horse Point, the "Grand Canyon of Utah". We figured the repeated recommendations not to miss it must be overblown, but put it on our itinerary nonetheless. We were stunned by the glorious scenery, and while we were there it was remarkably uncrowded. If you're passing near Moab in Utah, you should definitely plan a stop at Dead Horse.

OMG, you did a great job with this one. Landscape can be so hard to capture, but you have some nice foreground detail, including what look like figures on the cliff top. Brilliant!
