A disappearing device
Here's the face of a payphone on Capitol Hill. This was just another shiny thing glistening in the sun that seemed to call out to be photographed. I think it's the buttons that do it for me.
I was thinking afterwards, though, how long it's been since I've used a payphone on a public street; I carry a cell phone now. I don't even know what a payphone call costs anymore.
