Snowboards waiting for their owners at Stevens Pass, outside Seattle

No longer crowded

Another shot I took from the lodge balcony while we were unwinding at the end of the day. The crowds had mostly dispersed, although we wound up sitting in traffic for most of the trip down the mountain.

I must admit, it was nice to shoot with a zoom for a change. Color me lazy, I guess, although I think it's a little more justifiable to use a long zoom than a short zoom, since you would need to walk a greater distance with a long prime if you wanted to replicate the flexibility of a zoom, whereas with a short prime it's usually pretty easy to get a little closer or a little further on foot.

In site news, I added the "People" and "Winter" categories, since I felt it was hard to browse for the (few) images of mine that have people as their primary focus, or find the handful of winterscapes I have up.
