Self-portrait

Yes, the blur is deliberate

In the tradition of photoblog self portraits (OK one more), here's a first self-portrait on chromalark. I took this as I was biding my time waiting to be picked up to go snowboarding the other weekend; I look a little hoodlum-esque since I'm wearing my mountain getup that includes a black cap.

To get this shot, I looked through the viewfinder to frame it, tripped the shutter, and then carefully lifted my face away from behind the camera (there was very little light, so ISO 100 / f/8 made for a very slow shutter). It took me several tries to get the image to have just the amount of blur I wanted.
