Hyper contrast
The rail car you can see on the other side of the loading dock is one of the cars shown in yesterday's image. I guess this dock is used to transfer goods from trucks onto the rail cars.
Obviously, I went a little nuts with the contrast here to underline the starkness of the scene. Hopefully it isn't over-the-top. It was kind of eerie wandering around taking pictures that day, since there was no one around (it being a Sunday). I was grateful for the chance to contemplate things undisturbed.
I've been putting together archive pages for the different image categories; you can now click on the category names on each image's full-size page to jump to a thumbnails list of other images in that category.
