Steel hooks in a barrel, Harbor Island, Seattle

Why keep hooks in a bucket?

I hadn't noticed this barrel of steel hooks that was lurking under an overhang until the friend I was wandering around Harbor Island with pointed it out to me. Obviously, the geometry of the scene was quite striking; I have a couple more frames that turned out nicely as well.

I can't quite bring myself to tag this one "abstract".

I like it. I have been trying to capture something similar but have been unable to. I suppose whether or not you call it "abstract" is in the eye of the beholder. Capturing an image like this takes an amazing effort on your part to not only conceptualize the final image, but also to translate it onto film. You did it well, I am still trying!

Oh, I like this one! Any idea what they're for?
