A Canon AE-1

Another view of my previous trusty camera

Here's another view of my Canon AE-1. By strange coincidence, today's image at the Frame of Mind photoblog is also an image of a Canon AE-1, albeit one still in regular use. That one is also hiding shyly behind a bottle of wine, which I am of the opinion that my camera should do more often.

I don't know jack about studio lighting, so perhaps you think the multiple shadows here are distracting. They don't really bother me.

Fine shots, both - I do prefer yesterday's angled perspective with the added color pop of the strap, but this top view highlights the class and elegant simplicity of the AE-1 design. Funny how we trade 'winder in the eye' for 'nose prints on the LCD' when moving from film to digital!

Funny just how small our photoblogging world can be...
