Tree and Space Needle, Seattle

A tree and the icon

The structure shown in the background here is one of the support legs for the Seattle Space Needle; this was shot from Seattle Center while I was out with some other Seattle photobloggers a week or so ago.

This was definitely a case of seeing the world differently through different focal lengths. I switched back and forth between my long (80-200mm) lens and a short (28mm) prime on our outing; I used the long lens to pick out this contrast.
