Don't let the pallet hit you in the head

I gather a lift truck is one of those vehicles you use in a warehouse to lift and move pallets. This rotting sign is posted on the outside of the Sandpoint commissary, by the loading doors, so I guess people would get clocked periodically by pallets and/or the lift trucks themselves. Bummer.

My friend John was telling me that he could remember when the commissary was still functioning, and it wasn't all that long ago; I think he said it was definitely less than 10 years. The building is in sad shape today, which is kind of scary. I mean, check out the peeling paint. The structures we build are very much ephemeral...
