Feet that have never walked

Here is another macro shot of my new baby daughter; I promise I will move on to other subjects after this and only return to her at reasonable intervals!

I didn't realize until I processed this image that the depth-of-field was so shallow that I had thrown the quarter out of focus. Madness! Getting a workable depth-of-field while handholding a macro shot is really tricky. Maybe I need to get a good ballhead. I can sense my wife rolling her eyes from across the Internet.

Why a Canadian quarter, you ask? My wife and I are from Canada, and that means that our daughter is Canadian, too, although she was born in the US. I thought I would sneak that in.
