Pyramid Lake was one of our dawn expiditions. We set out from Jasper as the sun was rising and arrived at the nearby lake as the sun was lighting up the mountains around us.

I gather that during the summer, Pyramid Lake is a pleasant place to spend a few quiet days; there is a little lodge, and these benches are on a pier on the lake, with a lovely view of mountains. In the winter of course, the lake is frozen hard and the lodge is quiet. We parked by the lodge and spent some time wandering around the lake, and I got this image of the empty, frozen benches waiting for summer.
