Keeping tabs on baby

My wife delivered our first child this weekend: a baby girl! She arrived unexpectedly early and so has to stay in the hospital for a little while to finish developing before she can come home.

Now, I know baby pictures are not of general interest, so I will spare you from a deluge of baby photos, but I wanted to work our new arrival into the photoblog somehow, so here is an image of her progress chart that is kept bedside. Pretty much everything is kept track of: weight, intake, "output", etc.

Both Mom and baby are doing very well, and our friends have been a wonderful source of support. I may be a little sporadic in posting to the photoblog over the next few days, although I usually "post to the future" to smooth over times that I'm not able to devote time to the site.
