Downtown Seattle reflected

Welcome to Chromalark!

This image seemed like a suitable place to start because it serves as an introduction in a number of different ways. This is Seattle, the city where I (currently) live, as seen from the window of an office building downtown at night. You can see the curve of the Puget Sound waterfront in the reflections.

In addition to introducing the place where I live, this image also lays out where I'm coming from with my photography, at least gear-wise. This image was shot around two years ago with a Canon AE-1, a simple 1980s-vintage manual 35mm film camera, and a cheap third-party all-purpose zoom lens. That camera was the first SLR I ever owned; I bought it on a trip to Toronto while I was in college and have owned it ever since.
